The Princess and The Pea. Finally, last night we had success getting Ally to sleep on her back in the bassinette next to our bed. It was only for an hour and a half, but we're thrilled about the progress. We had tried countless nights before and every time we set her down in bed, she knew instantly something was different and woke right up. So for now, we'll continue our routine of a little tummy sleeping on Mommy's chest mixed with whatever time she'll tolerate in the bassinette. Today is Ally's 2-week birthday - time flies. And still two more days until her due date. Hard to believe she's already been a part of our family for two whole weeks. We took Ally to get weighed today and she's doing great. She's now 6 lbs 12 oz (4 oz above her birth weight).
