Fun in the sun

July has come and almost gone and we've been spending so much time enjoying the beautiful outdoors that we got behind in our blogging. Ally has some new favorite things - strawberries, being naked, throwing rocks into the cove or creek, kayaking (in very shallow water), and swimming. I'm proud to say that on her very first trip to the pool this summer, she said to me, "Ally jump" and pointed to the diving board. Then, she walked up there all by herself and jumped off, not just once, but twice.

Ally hasn't quite developed a love of fish, but we did figure out a way to get her to eat a little chicken finally - ketchup - that shouldn't be surprising.

We spent most of June gardening (with lots of help from Grandma Janna who entertained Ally while Jason and I got the plants in). Now, we're just watering and waiting for the weeds to grow in.
